Jacy is a third-year Master’s student in the Clinical Psychology program. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychological and Brain Sciences, and a certification in Applied Behavioral Health. Her undergraduate research largely focused on psychopathy and forensic assessment. Jacy’s research interests broadly include personality disorders (particularly psychopathy), forensic psychology, psychometrics of psychological assessments used in a correctional setting, and law enforcement psychology.

Chloe Rodriguez is a second-year master's student in the Clinical Psychology program at Sam Houston State University. She graduated from Sam Houston State University with a B.S. in Psychology and a B.S. in Criminal Justice. Her research interests include psychopathy and other personality disorders, as well as forensic evaluations. She intends to pursue a Ph.D. in clinical forensic psychology after the completion of her master's degree. In her spare time, Chloe enjoys hanging out with her two cats (Shadow and Sunny).

Lauren is a third-year Master's student in the Clinical Psychology program at Sam Houston State University. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology minoring in Sociology from Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska. Lauren's research interests broadly include personality pathology, eating pathology, and assessment.
Lauren Allen, B.S.
Paige MacQueen is a third-year masters student in the Clinical Psychology program at Sam Houston State University. She graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors from University of Houston-Downtown with a bachelors degree in psychology. Her undergraduate research focused on mood disorders and word association. Her current research interests include personality psychopathology, personality assessment, externalizing disorders, and animal personality. Her clinical interests include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, equestrian therapy, and person-centered approaches that focus on individuals with mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and personality disorders. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology following the completion of her master’s program. Her goal is to one day combine her passion for psychotherapy and her lifelong love of riding horses with equestrian therapy. In her spare time, she enjoys riding her horse, playing with her dogs, and reading a book in her garden.

Monica Paez is a third-year Master’s student in the Clinical Psychology program. She graduated with a B.S. from Sam Houston State University, majoring in psychology and minoring in criminal justice. She plans to pursue a PsyD in clinical psychology after completion of the Master’s program. Her research and clinical interests include psychodynamic theory, competency and forensic evaluations, and personality pathology among forensic populations.
Monica M. Paez, B.S.
Saniyya is a third-year master's student in the Clinical Psychology program at Sam Houston State University. She graduated with a B.S. from the University of Texas at Dallas with a major in Psychology and minor in Business Administration. Her research and clinical interests include interpersonal relationships, personality disorders, trauma, and socioeconomic and racial diversity.
Saniyya N. Rahman, B.S.
John Cromb is a second-year master’s student in the Clinical Psychology program at Sam Houston State University. He graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy in Spring 2022. His research interest includes the treatment and assessment of individuals who have a mental illness and a particular interest in substance abuse and personality disorders. He is also interested in investigating the effects across the socioeconomic, cultural, and racial backgrounds in the difference in treatment effects. He plans on pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology after completing his master’s degree.
John R. Cromb IV, B.S.
Tyler is a first-year master’s student in the Clinical Psychology program at Sam Houston State University. They graduated Cum Laude with their Bachelor of Science in Psychology, minoring in Criminal Justice, from Sam Houston in 2022. Their research interest broadly falls within childhood trauma, with a particular interest in childhood sexual abuse, interfamilial trafficking, differing psychopathology in siblings or other close-in-age family members who grew up in unstable family environments, and dissociative disorders developed due to childhood mistreatment. They intend to pursue a Ph.D. in clinical psychology following completion of their master’s degree.

Caroline Carmody is a first-year Master’s student in the Experimental Psychology program at Sam Houston State University. She graduated from University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS with a Bachelor of Science in psychology with a minor in criminal justice. Her research interests include personality assessment, forensic psychology, competency and forensic evaluations, and personality pathology among forensic populations. She plans to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology after completion of the Master’s program with the goal to become a practicing Forensic Psychologist.
Caroline Carmody, B.S.
Brooklyn Lesure is an undergraduate senior at Sam Houston State University. She is double-majoring in criminal justice and psychology and hopes to pursue graduate school after completing her B.S. degrees. She would like to go into the criminal psychology field after experience. She is interested in the intentions, actions, and thoughts of individuals during crime. In her spare time she likes to read fiction novels, watch crime documentaries, exercise, and spend time with her loved ones.
